SENIOR IFRS ACCOUNTANT

What will your day look like?
- Leading the IFRS implementation process across the GymBeam Group, including initial setup and accounting methodology for all entities;
- Active participation and expert support in accounting/ERP system selection and migration, ensuring compliance with IFRS consolidation requirements;
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial data across entities;
- Independent handling and application of complex IFRS standards (e.g., IFRS 16) and providing methodological guidance for non-standard transactions;
- Management of the complete accounting agenda for selected entities under IFRS;
- Coordination and future mentoring of Junior IFRS Accountants;
- Responsibility for month-end closings and preparation of financial statements, including participation in transfer pricing activities;
- Identification and implementation of process improvements and automation in accounting procedures, creation and documentation of internal IFRS policies;
- Collaboration with external accounting advisors, auditors, and local accounting services in subsidiary entities.
Who are we looking for?
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in complex accounting, ideally in an international environment;
- Deep knowledge and practical experience with IFRS, including IFRS consolidation;
- Experience with IFRS implementation or accounting/ERP system migration is a strong advantage;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, structured approach, and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for key processes;
- English – Upper intermediate (B2+), written and spoken.
