What will your day look like?
- Responsibility for the ongoing and independent management of complex accounting operations;
- Responsibility for monthly closings and participation in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements;
- Ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines, procedures, and regulations;
- Coordination and review of fixed asset accounting (tangible and intangible);
- Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy and timeliness;
- Preparation and oversight of statistical returns and internal reporting in compliance with legislative requirements;
- Preparation of documentation for auditors and authorities, and communication with local external accounting and tax service providers;
- Processing and preliminary review of tax returns (VAT, OSS VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Road Tax), including document preparation and communication with relevant authorities;
- Responsibility for the final approval of incoming invoices and ensuring their accurate and complete processing;
- Participation in the implementation and testing of new accounting processes and tools, including support for automation and AI solutions within accounting.
Who are we looking for?
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role;
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to independently resolve complex accounting and financial issues;
- High level of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail;
- English language proficiency at minimum B1 level.
