What will your day look like?
- Take ownership of daily manufacturing output and ensure smooth, cost-effective production operations.
- Lead and support the production team, set priorities, monitor performance and remove operational blockers.
- Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing efficiency, productivity and process quality.
- Plan production schedules, monitor capacity and adjust priorities according to business needs.
- Ensure just-in-time availability of ingredients, raw materials and packaging materials.
- Manage manufacturing costs and actively work with KPIs such as cost per product, output and productivity.
- Set and maintain standards for quality, hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety.
- Introduce and improve procedures for raw material storage, handling, production, packaging and dispatch of finished goods.
- Coordinate maintenance of production equipment and ensure issues are solved quickly and responsibly.
- Communicate with relevant authorities and ensure compliance with food production, HACCP, health & safety and machinery-related requirements.
- Prepare operational manuals, production procedures and documentation needed for stable production operations.
Who are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in food, supplements, FMCG or a related production environment.
- Previous experience leading a production or manufacturing team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving and process improvement.
- Good understanding of quality standards, hygiene rules and safety requirements in production.
- Ability to work with KPIs, production costs and efficiency metrics.
- English and German language at B2 level or higher.
