What will your day look like?
- Ensure the correct functioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of AutoStore systems and warehouse automation technologies;
- Perform robot servicing, resolve jammed bins, and support goods in/out and order troubleshooting activities;
- Diagnose and resolve technical, mechanical, electrical, software, hardware, and network issues (Wi-Fi, cabling);
- Monitor system performance through eManager and other tools, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements;
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs internally, and coordinate external providers for complex interventions;
- Manage spare parts availability and ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures;
- Act as the main technical contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders, managing escalations through the ticketing system;
- Train warehouse operators and staff on the correct use of automation systems and best practices;
- Collaborate with IT, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations and system reliability;
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, innovation projects, and the optimization of warehouse automation processes.
Who are we looking for?
- Technical mindset and a natural interest in mechanical and electrical systems, IT, and network technologies;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and find effective solutions even under pressure;
- Hands-on understanding of how a warehouse and its workflows run;
- Good communication skills — you can train and support the people around you;
- Italian and English at intermediate level (B1/B2);
- Experience with AutoStore or similar automated systems is an advantage.
