QA ENGINEER FOR E-COMMERCE BACKEND

We are  looking for an energetic QA Engineer to help us build the biggest e-commerce platform for 160 million fitness enthusiasts in the CEE region:

• we are the fastest growing fitness company in Europe;

• our e-shop serves 2 000 000 customers in 14 countries;

• it had 250 000 000 pageviews last year;

• we expect to ship 3 000 000 orders from our warehouse this year;

• you are going to be a part of a fast-moving team of four developers and two QA engineers.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about quality assurance, has solid analytical skills and a strong sense of ownership. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR JOB:

• helping your team to deliver new software features to our e-commerce platform, warehouse solution, and logistics platform; 

• owning the product from a QA perspective and ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality;

• identifying and reporting issues found, then verifying that issues are resolved;

• ensuring the quality of new features for our e-commerce backend systems;

• collecting issues from users, handling incidents and managing bugs;

• performing regression testing;

• knowing your products and systems inside out and being the voice of a customer on the team;

• testing backend APIs with Postman;

• contributing to the development of a strong and comprehensive testing strategy for our systems.

• Software Developers, QA Engineers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, Agile Delivery Manager;

• Essential technologies: PHP, Python, TypeScript;

• Own QA and Product teams.

SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• a passionate QA engineer who is looking for an opportunity to work on an exciting e-commerce project;

• at least 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance;

• a detail-oriented, analytical person, interested in how things work;

• solid understanding of testing methodologies, principles and best practices;

• strong sense of ownership for the product and a commitment to excellence;

• a technology enthusiast who likes putting herself in customer’s shoes;

• experience with testing web applications;

• preferably some experience with Postman and testing REST APIs;

• some experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress is a plus;
