About your key responsibilities:

  • This is a C-2 position reporting to COO while managing 5 middle managers and 30 team members who are responsible for negotiations of deals with B2B partners or suppliers, operational purchasing and new product development;

  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention by product portfolio, often measuring everything about product portfolio and improving iteratively customer experience, NPS, margin and company EBITDA in long term;

  • Taking ownership of market intelligence reporting, analyzing market trends & data to identify new opportunities for growth while managing the product portfolio and new product development process;

  • Managing a team of negotiators and sourcers whose responsibility is to negotiate a supply contract for every product in the company with a cost of 50K€+/Y; developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and suppliers; developing a sales strategy to acquire new B2B partners and drive GMV growth;

  • Overseeing food safety as well as quality of food and non-food products; ensuring that the new product development department follows internal processes and is compliant with relevant laws and regulations, in order to maintain the company's reputation and brand image;

  • Managing development projects with process automation to increase teams´ efficiency and company EBITDA;

  • Maintaining optimal stock levels, keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels, resolving problems with out of stock or overstock, being mindful about ROI in stock;

  • Forecasting price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power;

  • Contributing to overall business strategy and annual budget process;

  • Managing strategic purchasing team and driving innovations;

  • Working in an agile environment, continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, and identifying opportunities and risks.

About you:

  • 5Y+ experience in a managerial position within an eCommerce/FMCG company;

  • English level: Full professional proficiency and Czech/Slovak level: Full professional proficiency;

  • Customer Focus: The ability to understand customer needs and provide excellent customer service;

  • Project Management: GymBeam is a fast-growing company where the the ability to plan, manage and deliver projects on time and within budget in every department is essential;

  • Strategic Thinking with a vision: The ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies and make decisions that will drive business growth;

  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and financial performance to make educated decisions;

  • Communication and Negotiation skills: The ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and negotiate agreements;

  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: We are D2C eCommerce, and therefore, the ability to develop and implement effective online marketing campaigns to drive sales is crucial; 

  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of eCommerce technology and systems, since the whole company is technological and the team is tech savvy; 

  • Financial Acumen: The ability to manage budgets, forecast revenues and measure the ROI of investments;

  • Experience with new product development is an advantage;

  • Experience with agile project management or scrum framework of project management is an advantage.
